Gorgeous spot for a picnic. You can either walk down or take a 4 wheel drive vehicle onto the beach. If you're looking for a nice spot to have lunch and look at a mountain or two then you should visit Clam Gulch State Recreation Area. The park was ok. Restroom was locked I talked to a state worker about the issue she said they only keep one open due to the cut backs.
